Wires on a Propane Truck Route 5 Canaan 10/03/22
Columbia County 911 dispatched Canaan and Red Rock Firefighters at 12:04pm for a report of wires on a propane truck. The incident was located at 1751 Route 5 just south of Pine Ridge Road in the Town of Canaan. 

The wires were reported low across a driveway where the truck was making a delivery. The wires were cable and phone lines.

New York State Electric and Gas and Consolidated Communications responded.

Route 5 was closed during the incident.

There were no injuries.

The New York State Police investigated.

Firefighters were back in service at 3:17pm.
