Wall Fire at the Chatham Grill 07/27/16 
Columbia 911 dispatched the Chatham Task Force and Chatham Rescue at 8:51pm for a reported fire in a wall at the Chatham Grill located at 34 Hudson Avenue in the Village of Chatham. Firefighters from Chatham, Ghent, Valatie, Niverville and Red Rock responded. Command confirmed a working fire in a wall of the kitchen.  

The Building Inspector was requested to respond to the scene.

The Columbia County Fire Coordinators Office was on the scene.

Command reported a grease fire that extended into the wall. A six foot by ten foot area of a wall was reported damaged.

Firefighters were back in service at 10:53pm.
