Two injured in Route 22 Accident Canaan 04/23/21
Columbia County 911 dispatched Canaan and Red Rock Firefighters and Chatham Rescue at 8:32pm for an accident on Route 22 in the Town of Canaan. The one car accident was located north of Tremper Association Road.
Red Rock Firefighters stoodby in their own quarters.
It was reported the vehicle was southbound on Route 22 when it struck and went over the guardrail and struck a tree.
Chatham Rescue responded with two ambulances. One patient was transported to Berkshire Medical Center and the other to Albany Medical Center.
The New York State Police investigated and were assisted by the Columbia County Sheriff's Department.
Firefighters were back in service at 9:37pm.
