Tractor Trailer Accident on the Berkshire Spur Canaan 04/25/23
Columbia County 911 dispatched Canaan and Red Rock Firefighters and Chatham Rescue at 4:33pm for a reported tractor trailer accident on the New York State Thruway. The accident occurred near milepost 19.8 in the westbound lane of the Berkshire Spur. The tractor trailer was hauling crushed cars.
Chatham Rescue transported one patient with reported minor injuries to Albany Medical Center.
The Columbia County Fire Coordinators Office and Traffic Safety from the New York State Thruway were on the scene.
New York State Police from Troop T investigated.
Firefighters were back in service at 5:12pm.
