Three Dogs perish in Richmond, MA Structure Fire 04/12/21
Columbia County 911 dispatched the Canaan Task Force at 6:57pm to respond mutual aid to Richmond Massachusetts. Firefighters from Canaan, East Chatham, Lebanon Valley and Red Rock responded to a structure fire located at 19 Dublin Road in the Town of Richmond.

Berkshire County Departments on the scene included: Richmond, West Stockbridge, Stockbridge, Lenox, and Great Barrington with their air truck.

Per Richmond Fire Chief Stephen Traver, the fire appears to have started in the kitchen. The State Fire Marshal's Office was called to investigate. Three dogs perished.

The Red Cross was called to assist the family.

Columbia County Firefighters were back in service at 8:14pm.
