Columbia County 911 dispatched the Canaan Task Force(Canaan FD, Lebanon Valley FD, East Chatham & Red Rock FD) and Chatham Rescue at 10:25am for a reported residential structure fire at 257 Spencer Road in the Town of Canaan. Additional mutual aid was requested from the Austerlitz Fire District and from Massachusetts, Richmond FD and West Stockbridge FD.
The Columbia County Fire Coordinators Office and the New York State Police were on the scene.
NYSE&G was requested to the scene.
The home was reported as fully involved when firefighters arrived on the scene.
Firefighters were back in service at 2:35pm.
