Structure Fire Route 23 Hillsdale 08/23/16
Columbia County 911 dispatched Hillsdale Firefighters and Community Rescue at 10:28am for a report of a structure fire at 2795 Route 23 in the Town of Hillsdale. 

Command requested mutual aid from Copake, Craryville and Ancram Fire Departments. Ancram was additionally requested to standby at the Copake Station.

New York State Electric and Gas and the Town Building Inspector were requested to the scene. 

The New York State Police and Columbia County Sheriff's Department assisted on the scene.

Columbia County Fire Coordinator Willaim Hunt was on the scene.

Command reported a wood stove in a garage caused the fire. 

Firefighters were back in service at 1:09pm.
