12/24/14 Structure Fire Route 22 Stockport
Columbia County 911 dispatched Stockport Firefighters and Greenport Rescue at 11:20am for a report of smoke from the eves at a residence located at 413 Route 22 in the Town of Stockport. Under automatic mutual aid Firefighters from Stottville and Stuyvesant with their F.A.S.T. team were dispatched. Within five minutes of the initial dispatch Stockport Car 1 was on the scene and reported a working fire.

Columbia County Fire Coordinator John Howe and Deputy Fire Coordinators George Keeler and Peter Harvey were on the scene.

Building Code Enforcement was requested to the scene by Command.

Command reported that a chimney fire spread to a wall in a second floor bedroom. The fire was reported knocked down at 11:39am. Part of the chimney was torn down.

Firefighters were back in service at 2:15pm.
