Structure Fire Knollwood Drive Kinderhook 01/08/19
Columbia County 911 dispatched the Niverville Task Force(Niverville, Kinderhook, and Valatie) and Valatie Rescue at 1:29am for a reported residential structure fire at 66 Knollwood Drive in the Town of Kinderhook. Command requested additional mutual aid from  Ghent, Chatham, Stuyvesant, Tri-Village, Claverack, North Chatham and from Rensselaer County, South Schodack and Nassau Fire Departments. ​

The Columbia County Fire Coordinators Office, Columbia County Cause & Origin Team, New York State Police, and National Grid were all on the scene.

The American Red Cross and Town Highway Department were requested to the scene.

Valatie Rescue obtained two RMA's at the scene.


Firefighters were back in service at 7:34am.
