Columbia County 911 dispatched Churchtown Firefighters and Greenport Rescue at 7:42am for a reported one car rollover accident with entrapment. The accident occurred on Route 27 near Reservoir Road in the Town of Taghkanic.
Churchtown Command requested Taghkanic Firefighters to the scene with their jaws.
A LifeNet helicopter was placed on standby then requested to a landing zone that was set up at the Churchtown Firehouse.
Two patients were transported to Albany Medical Center, one by helicopter and one by ground.
The New York State Police investigated.
Firefighters were back in service at 9:15am.
