Columbia County 911 dispatched Hudson Firefighters and Greenport Rescue at 6:23pm for a reported porch fire to the rear of 453 State Street in the City of Hudson.
Command reported a working fire and just minutes later reported the fire knocked down, checking for extension and starting overhaul.
Hudson Police were on the scene.
Command reported a small fire contained to the back porch.
Firefighters were back in service at 7:01pm.
