Multiple Structures burn in Philmont 04/06/21
Columbia County 911 dispatched Philmont and Mellenville Firefighters and Greenport Rescue at 10:18am for a reported residential structure fire at 51 Block Street in the Village of Philmont. The fire reportedly spread to another residence and a garage.
Mutual aid companies on the scene included Hudson, Claverack, Churchtown, Greenport, Copake, Craryville, Livingston, Germantown, Clermont, Ghent, Chatham and Tivoli.
Red Hook stoodby for Germantown. Tivoli stoodby for Greenport. Catskill and Stottville stoodby for Hudson.
Kinderhook, Stockport, Stuyvesant Falls, West Ghent and Valatie stoodby in their own quarters.
The Columbia County Fire Coordinators Office, Columbia County EMS Coordinators Office, New York State Police and Columbia County Sheriff's Office were on the scene.
New York State Electric and Gas and the Red Cross were requested to the scene.
Firefighters were in service at 4:10pm.
