Chimney Fire County Route 9 Austerlitz 03/01/15

Columbia 911 dispatched the Austerlitz Fire District and Chatham Rescue at 8:06am for a reported chimney fire at 1917 County Route 9 in the Town of Austerlitz. The caller reported flames from the chimney.

The town building inspector was requested to respond to the scene.

The New York State Police assisted at the scene.

Firefighters cleared the scene at 10:24am.
