CCVFA 94th Annual Convention Parade Chatham 07/27/19
The Columbia County Volunteer Firefighters' Association held it's 94th Annual Convention Parade in Chatham, New York.
The Grand Marshal for the parade was Jack Mesick. Mr. Mesick is a World War II Veteran, Past Mayor of the Village of Chatham, Past Police Chief of the Chatham Police Department and Past Chief of the S.W. Smith Hook & Ladder Company.
Jack was with his wife Fran, who is a 60 plus year member of the Chatham Fire Department's Ladies Auxiliary.
They were chauffeured by CCVFA President Dave Silliman.
Division One Marshal was David Chapman. Mr. Chapman is a 56 year member of S. W. Smith Hook and Ladder Company, Past Chief, and 56 year year member of the Chatham Fire Department. He was chauffeured by his wife Liz Chapman who is a 52 year member of the Chatham Ladies Auxiliary.
Division Two Marshal was Firefighter Gary Vogel a 50 plus year member of the Chatham Fire Department's Ocean Fire Company #1. His chauffeur was Paul McCagg a member of the S.W. Smith Hook and Ladder Company.
Division Three Marshal was the Ladies Auxiliary to the Chatham Fire Department. Representing them was Marilyn Martin, a 60 plus year member of the auxiliary. She has served the most terms as President than anyone else. She was chauffeured by Tri-Village Auxiliary Member Carol Goold.
