Car hits tree Route 27 Taghkanic 05/29/16
Columbia County 911 dispatched Churchtown Firefighters and Greenport Rescue at 3:18pm for a report of a car striking at tree. The incident occurred near 1824 Route 27 in the Town of Taghkanic.
A LifeNet helicopter was placed on standby but was not needed.
Greenport Rescue transported to Columbia Memorial Hospital.
The New York State Police investigated.
Firefighters were back in service at 4:27pm.
