11/07/14 Car crashes into Rite Aid Greenport
Columbia County 911 dispatched Greenport Firefighters and Greenport Rescue at 1:35pm for a report of a vehicle that struck the Rite Aid store at 173 Fairview Avenue in Greenport. The car reportedly struck two other vehicles before it struck the building.

The operator of the vehicle, a 93 year old woman was transported to CMH by Greenport Rescue.

The Columbia County Sheriff's Department investigated. The Greenport Police Department assisted at the scene.

The Town of Greenport Building Inspector was requested to the scene.

Firefighters cleared the scene at 2:36pm.
