Car and Garage Fire 86 Shaker Ridge Drive Canaan 02-23-14

Columbia County 911 dispatched Canaan Firefighters and Chatham Rescue at 3:20pm for a reported vehicle fire at 86 Shaker Ridge Drive in Canaan. Upon arrival Canaan Car 3 reported the fire was spreading to the garage of the residence. Mutual aid was requested from the Canaan Task Force (East Chatham, Lebanon Valley, Red Rock) and Richmond, MA. The fire was quickly knocked down and mutual aid companies were cancelled. The Columbia County Sheriff's Department was on the scene. Firefighters were back in service at 4:35pm.
