Car / Tree Accident Route 5 Canaan 02/02/22
Columbia County 911 dispatched Canaan and Red Rock Firefighters and Chatham Rescue at 3:26pm for a car/tree accident on Route 5. The accident was near 1947 Route 5 in the Town of Canaan.
Chatham Rescue reported one that refused medical treatment.
Command reported that a guide wire to a utility pole was damaged.
The accident was investigated by the New York State Police. The Columbia County Sheriff's Department assisted.
Firefighters were back in service at 4:36pm.
