DEPUTIES INVESTIGATING ROLLOVER ACCIDENT IN HILLSDALE

Hillsdale, NY – Columbia County Sheriff David P. Bartlett reports that on November 2, 2019 at approximately 11:11am, Sheriff's Patrols were dispatched by Columbia County 911 for a one vehicle rollover accident on County Route 21, just east of Caso Lane in the Town of Hillsdale.

Deputy Sheriff's found that a 2017 Lexus R450, operated by 70 year old Doris Lindbergh of Hillsdale, was traveling eastbound on County Route 21 and for unknown reasons, went off the south side of the roadway striking a ditch, which caused the vehicle to overturn and come to rest on its roof.

The operator and sole occupant of the vehicle was transported to Fairview Hospital in Massachusetts by Greenport Rescue Squad for head and chest pain.

The accident is still under investigation at this time.
