AAPI Route 20 & Darrow Road New Lebanon
Columbia County 911 dispatched Lebanon Valley Firefighters and Chatham Rescue at 10:52am for a reported rollover accident with possible entrapment. The incident occurred at Route 20 and Darrow Road in the Town of New Lebanon. Mutual aid was requested from Richmond and Hancock. They were not needed and were cancelled.
It was reported a vehicle was traveling westbound on Route 20 and crossed over the eastbound lane and then went across the entrance to Darrow Road over guardrails and into the woods.
A helicopter was placed on standby but declined due to the weather.
Chatham Rescue transported the driver to Berkshire Medical Center.
The New York State Police investigated.
Firefighters were back in service at 11:25a.m.
