A Chatham Rescue ambulance struck a tree while enroute to a call. The accident occured on County Route 9 just south of Lamoree Road in the Town of Chatham. The ambulance was northbound on County Route 9 enroute to priority four call on Dewitt Brown Road and was responding without lights or siren at the time of the accident.

Red Rock firefighters were dispatched at 12:41pm.

There were two members of the Rescue Squad in the ambulance when it went off the west side of the road and hit a tree. Both subjects went to CMH in Hudson to be checked out.
