Columbia 911 dispatched Stuyvesant Firefighters and Valatie Rescue at 3:05PM for a car fire at 26 Church Street in the Town of Stuyvesant. When Engine 52-1 arrived on scene it was fully involved. Firefighters pulled 1 ¾” hose with foam to extinguish the fire in the engine compartment and front dash.  Several small explosions occurred while firefighters knocked down the flames.

Units were back in service at 4PM.
