Germantown Firefighters and NDP were dispatched by Columbia 911 just after 3PM for a reported
barn fire on Route 9G in the Town of Germantown. The fire was located at 4340 Route 9G just north of Main Street.
Germantown Command reported a working barn fire and requested mutual aid from Clermont, Greenport and Livingston. Clermont
was requested to fill tankers at Palatine Park.
The Columbia County Fire Coordinators Office was on the scene.
The Columbia County Cause and Origin Team was requested by Command and are investigating the cause.
No
injuries were reported and all units cleared the scene just after 8PM.
