02/06/10 On Saturday February 6, 2010 four members of the Niverville Fire Department participated in an Ice
Rescue Technician class in Harrisville, New Hampshire. It was taught by lead instructor Gerald M. Dworkin from Lifesaving
Resources Inc. The class had 28 students in total coming from four different states. Participants spent approximatley
four hours of the day in the cold icy waters of New Hampshire learning new and effective techniques to rescue victims
fast and efficiently. All four participants of the Niverville Fire Department, Cory VanLeuven, Jim Rapp, Pete Harvey,
and Jeff Judson, succesfully completed the course and were given the certification of Ice Rescue Technician. For more info
