A two vehicle accident at Moorehouse Corners in Austerlitz was reported to Columbia 911 around 1:30pm
on Wednesday afternoon. The accident was at the intersection of Route 9 and Route 203. The accident involved a small
dump truck and flatbed.
Austerlitz Firefighters and Chatham Rescue responded. Philmont Rescue was requested
to respond mutual aid by CRS. Both Rescue Squads transported patients to CMH in Hudson.
The Columbia County Sheriffs'
Department investigated. Chatham Police assisted at the scene.
