The Taconic Hills Fire Prevention Association which is comprised of the Ancram Fire Company, Churchtown Fire Department, Copake Fire District, Craryville Fire District, Hillsdale Fire District, Mellenville Fire Company, Philmont Fire Department and the Taghkanic Fire District provided a full day of fire prevention to the elementary students of Taconic Hills Central School. Each class, Pre-K - 4th grade, took tours of apparatus, smoke house, window and door escape, Dial 9-1-1, hoseline and had a team of Firefighters come in to their classroom to present a smoke detector and escape plan PSA. 
 
Special thanks to the faculty and staff of Taconic Hills for hosting our day with the children, as well as to Community Rescue for providing EMS coverage for the event.
