Columbia County Fire, EMS and Police personnel came together for a training excercise in Stottville. The topic was House of Worship Fires. The first part of the training was held on May 27th at the Stottville firehouse. The lecture, presented by Dr. John Silvernail covered the challenges of responding to a house of worship fire and how to best treat burn/smoke inhalation patients.

The second part of the training took place May 30th at the Holy Family Church on Atlantic Avenue in Stottville. It was a practical excercise involving a simulated church fire with several patients.
