Trauma First Response Course
The EMS Institute of Sharon Hospital
is offering the Trauma First Response course, this one-day class that teaches the principles of Prehospital Trauma Life Support(PHTLS)
to non-EMS practitioners, including, firefighters, police officers, rescue personnel and safety officers, during our EMS Symposium
on Saturday March 10th.
All the information and registration is on our website www.emsinstitute.org and we need your help to pass the word on to those that you know who might be interested.
There is an attendance
limit, so we are asking that the $50 fee (that includes food for the day) be paid in advance.
For
the EMS Providers we are offering a day of training that includes 5.5 hours of HVREMSCO CME Credits with lectures by Kelly
Grayson NREMT-P, CCEMT-P and Author of Life Death and Everything in Between, Dr. Seese, Gary Wiemokly, Bob Holdsworth,
Bob Green, Mark Cicero, Robert Zieler just to name a few of our confirmed speakers. We will have a complete list of CME's
listed on our web site.
Please goto www.emsinstitute.org to pre-register. If you Register before March 1st, 2012 you can save $10 off the $60 Dollar fee for the day. But please hurry
as we are limited to 200 for the EMS portion of the Symposium. EMS symposium and Trauma for the First
Responder will be conducted March 10th, 2012 at the Hotchkiss School Route 112, Lakeville CT. 5 minutes East of Millerton
NY.
