GREENPORT BECRAFT M26 is a 1943 Dodge Power Wagon, army surplus, 6WD. It was converted into
a brush rig in the '60's by Company members. Affectionataly known as "Gertie", she has a 350 GPM PTO pumpcapable for "pump
and roll"Equipped with a mini front turret, Gertie carries 400 gallons of water and assorted grass/brush fire equipment.
Over this past winter, she went through another complete "refurb". A large block Chevy V-8 now
supplies the power and the addition of power steering makes driving her a snap! She was stripped down to the frame and completely
repainted, with the traditional Greenport white over red.
