At 9:11PM Columbia County 911 dispatched the West Ghent Fire Company to a reported residential structure fire. While on patrol a Columbia County Sheriff's unit discovered the fire at 60 Ostrander Road in the Town of Ghent. It was fully involved.

West Ghent Command requested Ghent to the scene and Mellenville to standby in quarters.

Command then requested Stottville with their reel truck and tankers from Battalion Four. This brought companies from Ghent, Kinderhook, Stockport, Stottville, Stuyvesant, Stuyvesant Falls and Valatie to the scene.

Claverack responded with the county EMS gator, EMS60, at the request of EMS Car 1.

Chatham stoodby in their own quarters for Ghent.

Niverville stoodby with one engine in Valaties quarters.
