I created this site for the Volunteer Firefighters of Columbia County,
New York.
I am a 911 dispatcher
for Columbia County, New York. I have been dispatching since 1988 when I started with the Columbia County Sheriff's
Department. My county dispatch number is 11-27.
I am a past police officer of the Village of Chatham Police Department. I started there in 1983.
I was a road deputy with the Columbia County Sheriff's Department. After working the road and communications I found
that the Communications Division was for me.
I have been a volunteer firefighter since 1981. I am currently a member of the Canaan
Protective Fire Company. I am a past member of the Red Rock Volunteer Fire Company and East Chatham Fire Company.
I am a life
member of the Chatham Rescue Squad.
One of my interests is photography. I started taking photos in my high school years. I was a yearbook
photographer and developed my own black and white images.
I started
out with my fathers old Voightlander 35mm camera. I now use a Pentax SLR Digital K100D. What a difference digital makes!
